HTC One mini leaks, 4.3-inch screen and UltraPixel camera for 400€

The much rumored HTC One mini (or M4) leaked the web.

The guys over at Estonian tech blog forte.delfi.ee managed to put their hands on the handset and posted some photos.

The HTC One mini share the same aluminum body design as the bigger HTC One but features smaller 4.3-inch 1280x720 display, a dual-core processor (unknown clock speed), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 4-megapixel camera with HTC UltraPixel technology, BoomSound and front-facing stereo speakers.

According to the sources close to the site, the HTC One mini is expected to launch in August and will be priced around 400€ ($520).

Great work HTC, it surely looks like a winner compared to the biggest rival, the Galaxy S4 mini.

Camera Shootout: Samsung Galaxy S4 vs Nokia Lumia 920

I am lucky enough to have two flagship phone each with awesome camera in my possession at the same time, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Nokia Lumia 920. If I would not do a camera shootout between these two devices for you I might as well turn in my keyboard for failure to serve my readers as a writer.

I will not tell you which device took which picture till the end so you can make a decision for yourself. I will tell you that the same device will be on the top/bottom for every set of pictures. All these pictures were taken on Auto (except for one close up shot on Macro) because that is way most users take pictures these days. I know BOTH devices could take better pictures if I played with the settings but I wanted to keep the test true to what the average user will experience.

The top pictures are the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Bottom ones are the Samsung SG4. While it very close in my winner was the Nokia Lumia 920 it seemed to pick up just a little more detail in all the photos and gave a more "natural color". I think the SG4 just let a little too much light like the 920 did when first released onto the market.

HTC One coming to Verizon this summer

We heard some rumours in the past couple of months, but now its official, the HTC One is coming to Verizon.

Verizon Wireless on it Twitter account and officially has announced that the latest HTC Android flagship, the One will be available later this summer.

There are no other details like pricing, release date or will the Verizon version of the One be different, but this announcement is great news for Verizon customers.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, 10.1-inch and 8-inch Intel tablets announced

Today, Samsung has announced its two new, 10.1-inch and 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 Android tablets.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1280x800 pixels, it's powered by a dual-core Intel processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, 3-megapixel back camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 6,800mAh battery, run Android 4.2 and will come in three versions, WiFi-only, 3G and LTE.

The smaller, 8-inch model features a TFT display with resolution of 1,280x800 pixels, a 1.5GHz dual-core Intel processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal memory, microSD slot, 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 4,450mAh battery, run Android 4.2 and as its bigger brother will come in three versions WiFi, 3G and LTE.

Both tablets will be available this month. There are no other details but I'm sure we'll find out more really soon.

HTC First Unboxing

The other day a got a UPS delivery from AT&T and inside was the HTC First aka the "Facebook phone". While I don't use Facebook that much I have wanted to try out the interface since the launch of Facebook Home. Not only I'm curious to use the Facebook launcher but also to turn it off and use straight up unskinned Android.

Lets start with the specs on this device then get to the unboxing video.

Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6, 6-inch tablet/phone announced

Today at Computex 2013 in Taiwan, Asus has announced its new 6-inch Android device called the Fonepad Note FHD 6. Check the quick video after the break.

The Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 features a 6-inch 1920x1080 Super IPS+ display of the (450 nits of brightness), a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel back camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, front facing stereo speakers and a stylus. There is also a 3G (DC-HSPA+) antenna for calling and data.

At the moment, there's no official information about pricing and availability.

Oppo Ulike 2S with 5.5-inch screen and 5MP front-facing camera announced

Oppo has announced its new Android smartphone, the Oppo Ulike 2S.

The Oppo Ulike 2S features a 5.5-inch 720 p display, dual-SIM support, 8-megapixel back camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 3,000mAh battery.

Still many of the specs are missing like what processor is inside, how much RAM, internal storage and maybe the most important, the price.

The Ulike 2S is expected to launch within the next two months so stay tuned for more info.

Photo and specs of the LG Optimus L9 II leaked

Last year's top of the line mid-range LG Optimus L9 is soon going to get its successor, the LG Optimus L9 II.

According to the leaked benchmarks the LG Optimus L9 II will feature a 4.7-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280x720 pixels, will be powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with LG UI on top of it.

There are no other details but the LG Optimus L9 II is expected to be announced sometime in June.
