Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo and Galaxy Star officially introduced

Today, Samsung has announced two new budget friendly Galaxy smartphones, the Pocket Neo and the Star.

The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo features a 3-inch QVGA screen, 850 MHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card, 1,200 mAh battery, 2-megapixel back camera and run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The Samsung Galaxy Star share more or less the same specs as the Pocket Neo, the only difference is a slightly faster (1GHz) processor and a Digital Compass.

Depending on the market both handsets will come in two variants, Single and Dual SIM.

There's no word on the pricing or the availability.
