It looks like LG is going to upgrade its popular budget friendly Optimus L line-up as specs of the Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II leaked ahead of Mobile World Congress.
The Optimus L3 II is an entry level device and will feature a 3.2-inch (320 x 240 pixels) IPS display, will be powered by a 1 GHz processor and a 5 megapixel main camera, up from 3.2 megapixels compared to last years model. The handset was also spotted in the catalog of T-Mobile Hungary (image above).
The Optimus L5 II will feature a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display, 1GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and PowerVR SGX531 GPU and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, nice boost compared to the original L5’s 4-inch display with 320 x 480 pixels and 800MHz Cortex-A5 processor.
The Optimus L7 II (dual-SIM variant) specs leaked last month in Russia and will feature a 4.3-inch IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 203 GPU, 768 MB of RAM, 8-megapixel main camera capable to record 720p videos and 2.460 mAh battery and will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, quite an improvement over its predecessor's single core processor with Adreno 200 GPU, 512 MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera and 1,700 mAh battery.
Both the L5 II and the L7 II are expected to have single and dual-SIM variants depending on the market.
