Samsung Galaxy Note 3 adds new color options

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has so far been seen only in black, white, and pink; however, three new color options have been announced today. Samsung has announced that it has expanded the number of color options to make the Galaxy Note 3 more appealing. That’s great, but when will we be able to buy them?

The Rose Gold White and Rose Gold Black options change the standard white and black color modes that have been available since the Galaxy Note first went on sale. Instead of the slver-colored accents along the sides and back of the device, it now has a Rose Gold hue similar to the accent colors seen on the Galaxy Gear smart watch. There’s also a new Merlot Red option that shows a very red tone all over the device.

Samsung has so far only confirmed that the Rose Gold White edition goes on sale in China this month. The remaining colors go on sale “according to each market’s preference,” which doesn’t really provide a clue as to when and where these new options will be available. The Galaxy Note 3 is a popular device and plenty of people are in the mood for a new phone, so now would be a good time to provide some clarity, Samsung.
