Nokia released another Lumia exclusive app, Nokia NFC Writer, which allows you to read/write any standard NFC tag, create NFC tags to launch applications, check-in to places, update social status and much more.

Nokia NFC Writer requires Windows Phone 8 and is available from the Nokia collection in the Windows Phone Store for free.
