With the larger battery comes the ability to charge other devices. While it's a great option to have, I don't really see this being used too often. Still, it could be nice in some instances. I think most end user would be more interested to have the two day battery life the Huawei is claiming this device gets.
Also to be noted is the how much thinner the bezel is on Mate 2. The bezels thickness made the original Ascend Mate feel even bigger than needed to house it's massive 6.1 inch display. Surprisingly after announcing that it was done with US Market last year, Huawei has announced that this device will be coming to the US and went as far stating that it's "AT&T compatible" based on connectivity. There has been no word on pricing for this device yet here in US; however, AT&T has so far not said anything about it it will carry the device or not.
